“Looking for a place that served breakfast after 1pm on a long road trip and Hutch’s was it! Thank you!
Entered the driveway, easy to find. Lots of tourist info with the brochures in the entrant way.
Seat yourself at a table or booth. There were about 6 tables of people and some folks at the bar when it was only 45 min before closing. No one seemed to rush anyone, which is a nice hospitality touch.
Waitress took the order and it came promptly. Excellent portions of a classic breakfast. She checked in on us a few times. I think her name was Bella - friendly smile.
Seems like a family business. Grandma filling table condiments, Dad cooking, Mom handling the guest payments, etc. Everyone working so hard! Like a well-oiled machine.
Eggs were over easy and cooked perfect. Hashbrowns nice and crispy but not too overdone and topped with diced onions. Bacon fried perfectly and wheat toast with jelly. Coffee was good. Not bitter or watery - but just right. Great meal - definitely recommend - and the prices were almost half the price of other places for the same meal!!
Bathrooms older but super clean.
This place is worth the stop but they close early (2pm) - so keep that in mind when planning.
Get some more highway signage and you’ve got a hidden gem that has the potential to become a destination people talk about. Especially weekends like Sturgis - and on the way to the regions tourist stops!”
