We went in to get a drink stood there for about 10 minutes to have some guy at the bar finally looked at us and release a she's outside taking a break you'll have to wait. So we left.
Was expecting more when I found my hotel had a bar. Unfortunately, I heard changes had been made, including the hours, food not being available, no karaoke, etc. that have turned this into a typical small bar place. Probably good for the guests in general, but disappointed me because I had to get rides downtown instead and walked back 50 minutes both Thursday and Friday night because of no rides being available (whether at 2 am or 11:30 pm). Bar/Casino that is attached to the Grand Gateway Hotel. Low light classic looking bar. Slots on one wall. We stayed in the hotel, and in every elevator there was a placard stating the nightly food offerings in Cheers. We were tired on Friday night and was going to just eat the pulled pork there. We get to the bar, and the barman told us that they did not serve food. And that the signs were wrong. But there is a Perkins next door.He was very nice, and offered to fix us drinks .....
