Harriet & Oak is an absolute gem in Rapid City. The atmosphere is warm, laid-back, and perfect whether you’re grabbing a coffee before an adventure or sitting down to actually relax and enjoy your food. Plenty of seating and a really welcoming vibe.
I had the smoothie bowl and it was 🔥 — rich, thick acai blend topped with fresh strawberries, blueberries, banana, coconut flakes, pumpkin seeds, and bee pollen. Super fresh, balanced, and energizing without feeling heavy. Exactly what you want if you’re looking for something clean and nourishing.
They also offer house-made almond milk for coffee drinks, which I love seeing, and they have solid vegan options (not just an afterthought on the menu).
Great coffee, great food, great energy. Definitely a spot I’ll come back to next time I’m in Rapid City.

I will only give a 3 star review on my experience. Stopped with family anticipating a pleasant coffee shop experience. Very busy and slow. Not enough seating. Coffee was good but I ordered the breakfast bowl and failed to scrutinize the ingredients as I have ordered breakfast bowls at other coffee shops. Please look at ingredients first. Definitely not a breakfast bowl in my opinion. Lettuce, some other goony rice looking stuff, sweet potatoes, eggs I am pretty sure were plant based and not real eggs. Rest of family had decent food, but guess I made a mistake.. I am not a vegetarian!!!

I got a brown sugar mocha and it was very delicious. Service was really good. Employees were nice and I liked the comfortable vibe this place has. I personally like the upper floor area seating space.

who ever made my strawberry field salad today i wish i could give you a big HUG!!!! IT WAS SOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD . everyone is always so friendly 💗
The wifi password is lower case even though the sign is built with capitals. Super fun spot. I don't normally order a latte but today I'm glad I did. The barista poured a perfect heart into the foam. Made my day. Sometimes it's the little details that make memories stand out. Good job y'all!

This place was AWESOME! I typically don’t enjoy salads, but because the veggie bowl was served with a delicious sweet chili sauce and peanut butter, I ordered it & was happy I did! It tasted so good, and I felt good knowing that I was getting so much nutrition from it. The atmosphere here is also cute. I’d recommend this place, and would come back myself if I lived in the state.

Wonderful coffee shop with very accommodating staff and great vibes. I had a hot latte that I let sit too long as I did my homework and they put it over ice for me when I asked. I also had a homemade pop tart which was delicious! Will definitely be visiting the next time I am in RC.
