My wife and I spent our anniversary there and we were blown away! The staff was amazing and everything was beyond perfect! They surprised us with wine and chocolate covered strawberries in our room. Danica, the nighttime bartender, was amazing for us! I can't recommend staying here enough!

Decently priced and excellent location if you're headed to an event at the Monument Event Center. We had a mixup during check in, but nothing major. Overall a nice stay!

Hotel was very nice and clean. The king suite I was in was massive and offered a good view out the front of the hotel. Staff was courteous and helpful. Parking was easy and it had access easy access off the main road running nearby. Rooms were quiet never heard any outside noise.

I stay here frequently for business and for pleasure… This is one of my choice locations to stay at. The staff is so wonderful and accommodating and they treat me like family… My home away from home love this place.Nearby activities: With the walking and bike trail right there, I frequently throw my bike on the back of my vehicle and take it with me for business so that I can go for a nice long bike ride. The trail is kept in pristine condition and wide enough to manage lots of traffic.Walkability: Walk across the parking lot and you’re connected with hundreds of miles of walking and biking trails that go along the Rapid Creek and connect to the George Mickelson Trail. Downtown is just a short walk away with shops, restaurants and rooftop lounges.Food & drinks: The restaurant and bar are absolutely amazing, the food is fantastic. I have never heard anybody complain about anything they’ve ordered there, and every plate that comes out is always… Wow.

Great facility! Great staff! We were in town for my son's science camp at The South Dakota School of Mines & Technology and this hotel was a great find. A staff member named Amelita (I hope I didn't butcher her name) was tremendously helpful with everything. She even sent us off with a bag of ice for our twelve hour ride home to Iowa. This will be our go-to hotel for future visits to the area.

the hotel manager tried to tackle me but overall I enjoyed my visit, very kind staff (for the most part) as well as a beautiful building, 10/10 would risk getting tackled againedit: Bro i didn't try and hide i got lost lmaooo I was trying to get out of there but couldn't find the side door, but in all honesty, I apologize for my actions, I was definitely out of hand, and I'm sorry I was so horribly rude to yourself as well as your staff, I am glad you were able to get a little amusement out of the ordeal as well, perhaps a bit of a silver lining, and if anyone ever does what i did again, tackle at the waist for better results ;)

Overall ok hotel. The lobby smelled musty due to the waterfall, which wasn’t pleasant. The carpet in the room had some stains on it (in the photos). It was also quite hot in the room despite trying to turn the AC to 70, it never really changed from the heated temp. Lastly, they charge a random $15 fee for hotel services even if you don’t use any of them… I will likely never be in the area again, but if I was, I would not stay here.

Rooms were very clean and quiet. Loved the 8-story waterfall in the lobby. Restaurant and bar staff were great and so was the food, plus they are open late. The shuttle service is very flexible and accommodating. Short walk through Memorial Park to shops and restaurants in downtown.

For the price this place is like a motel not a hotel. Bathroom was nasty dirty, mold on the walls, very old carpet throughout. We stay at a holiday inn a few days ago that was amazing and cheaper that is only a few minutes from this one. Wish we would have gone to that one.Rooms: Nasty rooms
