I have been past this place a few times and finally stopped in. They have a high selection of cookies including gluten free and cookie dough. We got the buy 6 get 2 free deal so we had a wide variety of choices. Everything was good but some were on the dry side. I might go back but will go with the cookie dough.

Wow- these cookies are fantastic! My mom and I were in SD for a quick 4 day vacation and stopped here on a whim en route to the airport. We got a nice variety and all were so, so good. The blueberry glaze cookie had a very strong natural flavor (which can be hard to do with blueberry). The choc chip sandwich cookie with mocha buttercream was divine. Best monster cookie I’ve had and the lemon curd in the sugar cookie sandwich was phenomenal. It’s a good thing I don’t live close by! I would be here daily!

It's been a while since I've visited Mary's Mountain Cookies in Rapid City, but I woke up dreaming about those delicious morsels this morning.
If you've never been to Mary's, you need to make the time. Not just for the delicious desserts, but for the friendly conversation the could strike up as well. I had the pleasure of not just meeting some of the employees, I had the honor of meeting the owners of this fine establishment.
You talk about a community staple, Mary's is a true example. First, the cookies. Food makes people happy. Good desserts make people happier. Add in some conversation and you have a trifecta of goodness. But wait, it gets better, wait for this - the quadplex - these fine folks give back to the community as well via charity.
What more could you ask for? Ummm, how about ice cream. You asked, you shall receive!! Yeah, the ice cream cookie.
There is simply too much goodness to talk about here. Rob & Julie, I haven't had any trips out that way in a while, and my daughter loves cookies, now I just need to convince my wife that SD is a vacation destination (the cookies should be enough to convince her too, after we finish our cleanse diet of course)!

Amazing cookies. I had the original chocolate chip, the M&M, and the S’mores cookie. All three were delicious. I was taken aback as to how amazing the s’mores cookie was. I was not expecting that, but I’m glad it surprised me!

As a career cook for over twenty years I wasn't 100% impressed.
We got 8 cookies the lemon did not have a distinct lemon taste, the snickerdoodle was missing the cinnamon, Sugar flavor and there was none sprinkled on top , the sugar had some flavoring thanks to the frosting which had a hint of citrus I believe but again the cookie was missing the flavoring. My husband liked the oatmeal raisin and the triple berry. So all was not lost.
May go back may not.

ABSOLUTELY 10/10 ACROSS THE BOARD!(THEY HAVE GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS)It was our first visit and the woman working was so patient and polite and helped us find what we were looking for! The cookies were the absolute best!!!! The Bonfire Cookie (S’mores) and The President George (Snickdoodle) were amazing! And they taste great stored in the fridge, they aren’t too hard or too crunchy, they’re just really good fresh or chilled!
Kid-friendliness: The cashier was very friendly and polite with the children in line in front of us. That’s always a plus!

Walked in today for the first time and asked for 8 boxes of cookies. The young lady was so sweet and listened to exactly what I was looking for. She took the time to asked me what the occasion was. She handled each cookie very delicately. She thanked me for coming in. Wishing her a happy engagement and thank you for making my first visit very delightful! I will be back!
