Good food, horrible service. The restaurant had about 1/3 to 1/2 of the tables filled, and it still took 30 minutes to get drinks and an order placed after being seated with another 30 minute wait to get the food. Even as the place cleared out over time to about 1/4 full, people being seated still had to wait about 20 for the waitress to come around to take their drink order. On top of all of that, the waitress completely ignored tables and only came 3 times during the 90 minutes we were there.

Mike, the assistant restaurant manager on duty, was professional with an exceptional attitude. He served us late at night with a positive attitude and completely in control of the facility. We are long-time patrons of Perkins, but this specific evening we stopped in for a late night snack.

Mike was INCREDIBLY accommodating, seating us even though we arrived just 45 minutes before closing—a rare find in most restaurants. He provided exceptional customer service, always serving with a smile. Mike was welcoming, attentive, and promptly fulfilled all our requests.

On top of that, the food was outstanding. It was the best dish I’ve ever had from this restaurant and is now my new go-to. The sausage biscuit platter was absolutely phenomenal.

Lisa was a wonderful server. She was very attentive to our table. Even though we were a bit of a hot mess as an eight-top, she made us all feel welcome. And the food was great, as usual. Our toddler didn't like the mac and cheese, but a) he's a toddler... he doesn't even like his family at this age, and b) it's a temporary promotional mac and cheese.

This restaurant used to be really good, but today they had one server that appeared to be trying to do a good job waiting on customers, two others (maybe manager and hostess) that were sitting around visiting with each other and another gentleman while many of the tables had dishes on them and we waited a half hour or more to order and get our food. My advice to management is get up off your duff and be an example to your staff, clean the tables, and quit complaining to your customers about being short staffed!
