Sabatino's Italian Ristorante

The food generally is quite good. We came on a nite when several people didn't show up and it was chaos getting in. My pizza came 15 min after my wife's meal and she was almost finished ( I didn[t want to wait and have her meal get cold) My pizza arrive cool and the server said she was sorry but it was forgotten for a while in the confusion. Not great but usally much better. Life happens to all

Delicious food ! Small but adequate menu. Fun to watch preparation of the food from our table.

This place has gotten even better in recent times. The food is well-prepared, the service is the best - especially when you get to chat with the owner! - and I cannot wait to go back for more.

Kayla did an outstanding job and provided great insight on certain choices on the menu. The food was top notch. Definitely will return when back in Rapid City.

Food and service was great. What pissed me off was the overcharge on my credit card. We had a party of 3 and left a cash tip of 25% and they added an $18 charge which i didn't notice until reviewing my bank statement. Will not return to a dishonest restaurant.

The server was so busy because the only one on the floor. Very nice and kind even though we could tell they were slammed! The food came out in proper timing and was really good

Sabatino's is always good. We live on the other side of the state and eat here every time we're in Rapid. We have two young girls and we take them everywhere with us. They don't have a kids menu, which is completely fine, yet they still accommodated our daughter's request for pesto on her spaghetti rather than the marinara as it was on the menu. Much appreciated! Service was awesome. We'll be back!

Its a fancy italian food restauraunt for people who've never had good italian food. Overpriced and overrated.

I reserved a table for a valentines day date (on the 15th rather than the 14th). What a great decision! Though the restaurant was incredibly busy, our waitress maintained impeccable service. She was incredibly polite and friendly.

The food was absolutely delicious. I got chicken fettuccine alfredo and my partner got the pappardelle boscaiola. Wow! Both were truly great but I definitely plan on getting the bascaiola the next time we go there! You're also served fresh focaccia as an appetizer. My only wish is that we got more of that fantastic bread!

Overall, if you want to take your loved one on a great date at a fancier restaurant, go to Sabatinos! You won’t be disappointed.

Made a reservation a week prior. We show up on the day of the reservation and yall are closed. No call, no text, no email asking if we wanted to reschedule or to let us know that you wouldn’t be open. Why allow people to make a reservation on a day you’re closed. Wildly rude.

Not only was the food excellent, hot and delicious, the house wine was tasty and service was prompt! The atmosphere ambience was soothing as it should be in a restaurant like that and Sabatino was very courteous friendly and most welcoming.

My husband told me about this place about 2 or 3 years ago. We haven't had the time to check it out until tonight. He surprised me we did take out, The margarita pizza we order was prepared beautifully. The dough was not paper thin an not to thick. The sauce was also very nice not sweet like most sauces. I highly recommend Sabatino's for authentic Italian food. We will be back in the near future. 😃

Food was amazing. They were out of a few dishes that I would have liked to order, but all the food we received was delicious. Be aware that they ran out of too many items while we were eating so cut off new diners even though it was only a little after 8:00. As for reservation we found out they don't mean much on busy nights. There was no host at the stand and when somebody would finally come up front, they didn't ever check to see when reservations were actually set up for. Just asked who was next in line. Luckily 2 couple with reservations in front of us left to head down the street, so we didn't have to wait an extreme amount of time. Maybe it's not such a service mess on less busy nights though. Again - food was wonderful though!

Food was delicious, but they run the entire restaurant with only two servers. I recommend going for the food if you are in a patient mood and have no time constraints. Date night only 

Our experience was seamless. Seated right away, the staff was courteous and attentive. The meal was served Timely and the food was very good. Great evening we will be back.
