The drive through cashier guy always has the worst attitude and today it was bad enough for me to post about it here. My nacho cheese was thrown into the bag and spilled all over the place. Never gives napkins, never ask if you want taco sauce and a couple weeks ago I kept asking for mild and he kept giving me regular.( I had like 50 regular sauces by the time I finally got 4 mild sauces) Doesn’t make eye contact nor reply to how’s it going , thank you or farewells. I’m sure he has a good case of social anxiety or something but cmon man. Be present and do your job or go find another job if you hate it this much.

Stayed across the street from this place and hadnt had taco johns for awhile. Waslookin foward to it. Was disappointed. At the drive through. Only half the menu screen worked. Sooo we had to guess what we wanted. Never asked if we wanted sides of nacho cheese or sour cream. So i just ordered some. Got to the window. Very little ice in the drinks. When we asked if we could get more ice in drinks, it literally was like we asked for a refund or something. Worker acted like we were putting them out. So we just said nevermind. Got the food. Potato oles were a bit cold and not crispy. Hadnt been cooked long enough and very little seasoning. Grilled burrito was ok i guess. Small and just seemed blah. Wasnt impressed.

Gave 5 stars because the gal with the glasses who opened at 6am was very friendly and provided great customer service. Unfortunately these days that seems hard to come by well done keep up the great work, I will be back.

I don't know if they were just having an off day but I ordered a potato Ole scrambler through the drive thru and when I got home and took it out it was sooo unappetizing. It was a layer of cold hard oles with a small plop of nacho cheese in the middle with bits of bacon and tomatoes and onions. And very cold. For fourteen dollars it was horrible.

this location needs to temporarily close so they can can staff trained, and get staff in general. It is very clear that management has not taken the time to teach employees what to do, they’re improperly charging people, dont know how to make burritos, and dont know how to give refunds. It is very clear why they are short staffed. the only person who seemed to know half of what was going on spent time complaining to customers instead of actually helping her other 2 team members navigate challenges or cleaning. this location is setting up their employees to fail

Talk about a total let down. Flying into to rapid city from phx. The only thing I want right away is taco John’s. We pulled up to the restaurant says lobby open til 10pm. Doors locked and have to go thru drive thru. Order our food after 72 dollars spent we get our food and we head to our hotel 4 min drive. Well the food was cold. They forgot our added sour cream and one order of potato Iles. Potato oles were stale and over seasoned. Super bummed out because typically I will eat taco John’s 3-5 times over the 3 days we are here.
Stay away from this one for lunch. Something wrong is going on here. 2 cars in front of me and it was 17 minutes. The 2 that pulled behind me up and left and nobody else pulled up while I was there, tell me I'm one of the last to know that this place went downhill.
