“This store is run by Joy. When we walked in, she greeted us and told us she has sloppy joes, chips, and tomatoes for lunch. It's a no frills dining experience, but the atmosphere is like having lunch with your grandma. The locals were all friendly and talked with us as we ate. We also got coffee and a caramel roll to go. I would recommend this gem of small town South Dakota to anyone who is in the Salem area. On Tuesdays are pie day, which are the most busy. I would come back if I am in the area again.
