In all honesty - I had felt like Fly Boy wasn’t the best donut in town despite its ubiquity. Today I took my kids to the location on Western for a birthday donut and everything was so good! The breakfast sandwich I had was delicious and hot and the donuts were exceptionally yummy, too. There is a little kid sized table and a fun little plane for them plus the thoughtful touch of wipes at each table - all making it really kid friendly.
Ordered donuts for my sons graduation, very helpful during the ordering process!There was a small mistake the day of picking the donuts up but the owner was VERY responsive and went above and beyond to correct the error. He drove 46 minutes one way to core t the mistake and even threw in some extras to make up for it, which was completely unnecessary. You know a donut place is good when there’s cars out front waiting for them to open!Good variety of donuts, and everything was fresh. Yeast donut with maple frosting was delicious, as all the others. Very light and fluffy.I was looking for a local donut shop that had that homemade taste and feel. It was good choice and would revisit.
