My bride and I arrived around 9pm on a Monday night in June. The dining room was empty except for us and another two people. It was clean and brightly lit. The young woman at the counter was friendly but a bit quiet, making it hard to understand her in the big, echoing store. We ordered a small chocolate cone and a large turtle sundae. The custard was good and the sundae was very generous.

It was a rainy day where I was all alone and thirsty and hungry. I walked around sioux falls for hours until I found myself at a drive thru for Freddy’s. I saw a kind young boy in the window and proceeded to knock and wave. At first he was confused, but swiftly opened the window with a beaming smile. It was at this point when I said hi and he said, “you thirsty?”, and I got some water. This great employees name was Danny and he saved my life, while bringing my hope for humanity...
