Are you looking for a tart chablis or just something that is good and red? The owner will help you find it. Why buy wine based on the label when you could get advice on what the taste will be?

This was my first stop on my first visit to Sioux Falls and I couldn’t have been happier. The hospitality and quality of the wines were absolutely bar-none. I’ve been to wine tastings in New Orleans, LA, and New York. This place takes the cake for me. I had a couple of their daily offerings by the glass and bought a white wine called Big Salt. I can’t rave enough about this place. If you visit, this should be your first stop.

I don’t even know where to start! You just have to go and experience Gist Wine Shop for yourself. The selection is fabulous and the staff is so knowledgeable about their wines! I sampled new wine and even got to hear a great story about its South African wine maker. This place is so unique and just flat out cool.

Gist is an amazing gem of a natural wine shop located conveniently in downtown Sioux Falls. I stumbled across Gist on one of my many visits to Sioux Falls after struggling to find a bar or wineshop with a comprehensive natural wine selection. Gist’s wine selection is impressive, and the owner is actually a sommelier which is not usually the case at a small wine shop (especially outside of major U.S. cities). If you’re in Sioux Falls and like wine, you must stop by Gist.
