We went to Minervas last night and we specifically discussed with the waitress that we did not want anything spicy. i orderd ths chicken oscar. It was spicy with black pepper. When I told our waitress, she apologized but never offered anything else, a discount, or to talk to the manager. I could eat about a third of it. On her behalf, I guess I should have asked to speak to a manager
We went to Minerva’s for a rehearsal dinner. One of the grandparents has alpha-gal allergy and can not eat any mammal products, as well as has an allergy to some spices.
There were 2 chicken selections, but both were heavily spiced. The staff were attentive and welcoming. The menu was diverse but not overwhelming. The prices were fair. I had a wedge salad, 12 oz ribeye with fries, and a local kolsch. Everything came out perfectly prepared and portioned. I ate everything and had no leftovers! The atmosphere is perfect for a solo dinner, date night, or after-work professional meals. 10/10, would recommend.
