My partner and I recently took a trip to Sioux Falls and stopped here for a little treat. With a dairy allergy, it's very difficult to find desserts, let alone baked goods, in storefronts that I can eat. This shop had FOUR flavors of dairy free cupcakes and they were all delicious. The texture was perfect. My partner tried three of the other cupcakes and they were all delicious! They also have some fun goodies around the shop for purchase. The last few times I've been in, I haven't been overly impressed. The cupcakes just don't taste the same as they did a few years ago - they are smaller and less flavorful - and they're quite expensive. The service and atmosphere is wonderful, but the cupcakes aren't what they used to be, which is sad.
Last week I frantically called around to a few places that sell cake, looking for lemon cake with chocolate foresting, for a belated birthday gift.
