I'd say the number 1 thing is the excellent service the times I've been here. The food is good, never had anything bad its just expensive and a la carte for salads, sides, and even adding a protein to your pasta, when the pasta is already $25 alone. I do love the gluten free noodle option for my husband. It is usually quite loud, so if you want a quiet dinner this isn't the best place for that.

$40 tip on the table & yet the waitress wrote in $60 for herself. Waiting on a callback from the manager. *They commented back & clarified their side. Thanks for the explanation - changed my rating accordingly. Mix up on the waitresses's part - she did provide great service at our dinner. Mistakes happen. Thanks R wine bar managers for making it right promptly

Fantastic experience! Food was wonderful, and extremely reasonably priced! The music was perfect! We had an extremely talented live performer on the piano at just the right volume to have conversation, food came out fast and all of the staff went above and beyond!

Had a very nice dinner at R Wine Bar. I ordered the spicy rigatoni which was delicious. My husband ordered the fettuccine with pomodoro sauce. Both meals were delicious. Our waiter was very attentative. The Cherry Creme Brulee was the perfect ending to a fine dining experience.

We went there for my wife and I's anniversary. Taylor is exceptional and everyone is so welcoming! It's a great place to celebrate or just grab a cozy meal!

Had dinner/drinks on our anniversary. Staff was very accommodating and attentive. Everything we ate was great. The ricotta and ceviche are great apps. My wife had the teriyaki salmon, I had the Gorgonzola steak. Both were incredible, but you've gotta really like Gorgonzola if you go that route. Very strong flavor.
Came in with a group of 14 and had Ruth as our server. She single handedly took care of us without missing a beat! Great place, great food, great service!!

Had the special tonight - was told some thought it was spicy. Tried it, delicious!!! It was chicken w/pineapple. Did not feel if was too spicy for me. Everyone had a wonderful meal!!

Our server suggested a great wine! We both enjoyed the Champagne Chicken! Delicious! And for dessert, we shared the Mango Crème Brûlée! We always enjoy R Wine Bar & Kitchen.
