“The shredded pork with pickle is super yummy. The pork is very tender. The taste is unique. Have eaten here for about 30 years. Alway the same. Always very tasty, and sauces are rich. I would recommend eating here to all who enjoy this kind of cuisine. Of course I'll be back.“

Indian oven Indian • $
431 W 85th St, Sioux Falls

“We visited Indian Oven after hearing great things, and overall it was a very good experience. The lamb curry was especially delicious—rich, flavorful, and definitely a highlight of the meal. What fell a little short for me was the garlic naan. If I’m craving really good garlic naan, I’d still make the trip across town to Shai Palace. Indian Oven’s version didn’t have much garlic flavor, and I found myself wishing for a bit more of that classic punch. One thing that stood out, though, is their menu. They offer several dishes I haven’t seen at other Indian restaurants in town, which makes me want to go back and try something new next time. The environment feels a little more like fast food—simple, straightforward—but it’s not actually fast food. You can sit down and dine or order to go. I’d definitely go back if I’m in the area, especially to explore more of their unique offerings.“

“Johnny Carinos holds a special place in our hearts, not specifically the SF location but the Fargo location which now is closed permanently. It's the place we had our first date, where he proposed, and where I told him we were expecting our daughter. This past weekend we just had to go to the Sioux Falls location and have supper. It was fairly busy when we got there around 7:30pm. The Manager was working the front, the bar, and also serving. He was great with all the customers. Our meal came out promptly and was delicious. I would recommend this location to friends and we plan to go back again in the future.“

“If you’ve been considering going, but haven’t yet… I’ll save you some time. GO THERE NOW. Right now. My mom and I are from Texas. I moved her 6 years ago and she moved here 2 years ago. We have yet to find any place in the Midwest with authentic BBQ that tastes like home (Texas). UNTIL TODAY. Tina (the owner) was amazing to speak with and we told her how much we loved the food, service and hospitality. It’s definitely my favorite spot! The ribs and brisket are TO DIE FOR. I love the chicken fried streak too!“
