This is the 25th anniversary of Sioux Falls’, first Japanese restaurant. It’s the only authentic Japanese restaurant in town, owned by Japanese people. For the life of me, I can’t understand why someone would go to a Japanese restaurant owned by Chinese or Thai. Would you go to an Italian restaurant owned by Egyptians?

on one hand, this is the only place in sioux falls you can get okonomiyaki. on the other hand, the entire business model of this establishment hinges on the manual dexterity of two elderly japanese people, so u better bring an ipad with a martin scorsese film on it because you are gonna be WAITING waiting.

So far the best sushi in Sioux Falls. The quality of the fish is just so much better than the other places in Sioux Falls. Had the two tone sushi combo of tuna and salmon, just wow. Nice large pieces of fish on top of sushi rice. I would say they provided 50% more fish than the normal sushi places in town, and the flavor was spot on.A little expensive for an everyday kind of restaurant, but a great special date night kind of a place.
