Went to the restaurant around 8:30 on a Sunday. Didn’t even get sat they closed a hour before the time said online. No one even acknowledged us when we got there. We ask the bartender who kept looking at us but still says nothing. We asked if they were closing he made a short comment saying yes and pointed towards the door. Very rude never coming back.

Small intimate. Delicious food, staff is very well versed on the food and sushi. Clean cute. If it gets busy might get a little noisy.
Sushi was top notch. Bento box was good. The teriyaki salmon was overdone and chewy. But overall very good. The edamame could have used a little seasoning.
We had to ask for more napkins, wasabi and ginger, staff was very responsive and the 2 ladies worked really well as a team, the younger one was very personable.
Highly recommend, we were traveling from rural Iowa and just moving from DFW we have missed good sushi.
Next door is the pomegranate market )small Whole Foods). And Happy Jacks casino. Tiny very clean non Smokey.

First time visit I ordered the salmon bento box and thoroughly enjoyed it! Our waitress was genuinely friendly and helpful. The decor and hibachi grill are cool. The only thing less than perfect was the first smell noticed when entering was cleaning supplies that day. Thanks for the great meal and hospitality!

Our rolls and hibachi were both delicious! The angel roll was my favorite.

Great food
Disappointing. We started off with an incredibly sticky floor. So we know they're not mopping. We get to the table and the table almost falls off its post because it's half broken.. we secured it enough by pushing it against the wall. Not a good start.
The food:
.. Sashimi appetizer fish had ice crystals in the centers of the pieces. The meat was crunchy! It was also tough. Low quality tuna.
I was trying to look past the sashimi, and then I had the saltiest meal I've had in 20 years at a restaurant.. inedible. It tasted like my food was swimming in soy sauce, literally. Had no choice but to return it. Restaurant is very poorly ventilated as well. Prepare to be smoked out. Extremely disappointing experience overall. Server was very kind however.
We dined in a booth for dinner off the menu. We got the sushi for 2 platter and we asked if the 16 assorted pieces were nigiri and we were told by our server they weren't nigiri after he checked with the kitchen. When our food showed up, all the assorted pieces were nigiri. It is a total 1st world problem, so we didn't say anything and ate our food. The rolls and nigiri were good, but I think our server realized he screwed up because he completely avoided our table. I get it. I was a server so it's easy to think you lost a table and just stay away. I had to get up and go ask someone else for water refills and we didn't get a visit until he brought the check. The food was good, but the service made us not want to go back. The place wasn't very clean looking. Running a restaurant isn't rocket science and I feel like the simple things that don't cost anything are constantly overlooked. With the amount of decent sushi places in town, I'd find a better place to spend your money. Maybe the hibachi aspect of this place makes it worth it, but I'm not sure we will find out.

We didn’t have a reservation, so we waited about 20 minutes, which was fine. However, we ordered four Tokyos for two, so 8 people and specifically requested 'Steak, Shrimp, and Scallops.' Instead, they made us a Tokyo Supreme, which included Chicken and Lobster, resulting in a $100 price increase. Despite this mix-up, our Hibachi chef was fantastic—engaging, funny, and a skilled cook. While we appreciated his talents, we were disappointed by the order error due to the significant price difference.
