J.R.'s Rhodehouse BBQ PIT in Rapid City offers fantastic barbecue at reasonable prices. The brisket, pulled pork, smokehouse beans, mac and cheese, and cornbread are all highly recommended. The sauce is a big hit with customers. The pork ribs have a sweet glaze and are excellent, while the turkey breast and spicy links are also delicious. The mac and cheese and coleslaw are good sides. The food is excellent, arriving hot, and the servings are massive. The staff is wonderful, helpful, and makes customers feel welcome. While some found the brisket a bit dry, overall, it's a great spot for a BBQ fix, especially for those not from the South.
