Food was excellent. Unfortunately, like so many others, they were understaffed, so the service was slow. But, good once she got to me. Nice size side salad with the ribeye I got. Steak was done perfect and flavor was amazing. For $29 though, I would expect two sides instead of just one potato choice.

Homesteader 2 is a restaurant that offers a great dining experience. The "Big" Ribeye and grilled shrimp are standout dishes, known for their delicious taste and enormous portions. The bartender/server, John, provides excellent service, treating each customer as if they are the only one. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly, with a rustic wooden bar and TVs for entertainment. The staff, including a kind and polite waitress, contribute to the Midwest culture of the restaurant. Homesteader 2 is a local business that is worth supporting, offering a solid 10 out of 10 for a bar-restaurant environment.
