“After seeing the reviews we went to the Star of Ishstar on Gray Ave in Saskatoon and we very pleased with the food and service. Very flavourful and lots of gluten free recommendations. We started with the lentil soup and it was amazing. Next up we tried the Dolmas, very good, Kebab Platter delicious and a ton of food and the falafels were bite sized flavour bombs. Support Local!! Our server was attentive and friendly. We will be back.Dietary restrictions: Very knowledgeable about why was gluten free“

“The food was very good. Had Bennys traditional and hash browns. Especially liked the hash browns! Hard to find a place that serves them anymore. The service was especially good. Fast,friendly and professional. We were served by Kim M. I don’t get good service like that very often. I was very impressed.“

“Very poor experience with the hostess and waitress. The hostess seemed quite annoyed it seemed and the waitress was not the most attentive to our needs. We had to wait an hour from the time we ordered to the time she brought our food to us. And no apology was offered. Not winning me as a fan!“

“Not be difficult, but added onto myalready huge burger. I asked for a Sunnyside up egg on my burger....without hesitation they said. As always I have never had a bad meal here. But that "breakfast burger"....mind....blown. Love it!“

“The place is a bit tired looking but for a chain breakfast restaurant the food was good. You have to understand what you’re getting before you go. Affordability and great coffee. The staff was prompt and courteous and they will do substitutions for you like tomatoes instead of toast free of charge. Great for a quick stop.“

“I was in today for a late lunch with my mother. We ordered and ran into another family member and they were very accommodating, both on substitutions and someone joining our table. The coffee was excellent, the restaurant was very clean. Our server was very pleasant and efficient, we never ran low on anything and she brought the coffee pot for refills and offered me a water after we were finished and brought a jug out so we didnt at all feel rushed while visiting. It was a lovely lunch.“
