I got stuck working on our vehicle in a wicked storm and not only did the owners offer to help they also offered me warm food and a warm place to dry off. I stopped in to warm up then that turned into a three hour long conversation about everything life has to offer, I met the most amazing couple that night and made life long friends. Rockin' Horse Cookhouse & Market in Maple Creek is a great spot for a meal. The fish and chips were a big portion and very filling. The fish tacos were very good as well. Fantastic pizza has one of the best crusts. The chicken cordon bleu is very tasty and the small lasagna is piping hot. The staff is friendly, efficient, and very accommodating, with quick and attentive service. The atmosphere is cozy, with classic rock music playing. It's a new go-to place in town, with plenty of parking available. Don't miss out on this downtown gem for a tasty meal in Maple Creek.
