I was pleasantly surprised by The Carnivore, a combination of noodles, meats, and vegetables. So often that last past is skipped entirely for meat-heavy meals, and it was nice to have some hidden in there.
It seems to be consistence of service, as someone who has worked int he industry it should not take 20 mins for a beer. Arrived at 6:30- food arrived approx 7:45. Seems there is not enough staff. The staff we did encounter were nice and it's not their fault but I just think there needs to more help in the lounge on busier nights?
UPDATE (stars to reflect update): the owner reached out to me and apologized for what happened and asked that we give them another shot. We had supper today and it was great. All the staff were pleasant and we received water shortly after sitting down. The food was delicious. We will definitely give this restaurant another chance and call the other time just an off day. Hopefully service can continue to be at this standard as we do enjoy going here as a family.
