Overall, Golden Lux is a gem. The quality of the food, the relaxed atmosphere, and the excellent service make it a spot I’d happily return to. Highly recommended for a cozy dinner or special occasion.
Second time here, one year later, and some things haven't changed. Food was decent, but it was the rest that made me give it a three star. Service is VERY slow, which I generally don't mind, but here it's to the extreme. Same as one year ago, the toilet paper in the ladies' room was out. The mirror had prevalent water splatters that looked days old. The toilet seat was not the same shape as the toilet bowl. We had to ask for utensils after our meal was brought...
Got the steakhouse burger combo poutin instead of fries, the double patty burger combo, poutin instead of fries, spiral fries, calamari, mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers. The steak house burger was pretty good, my spouse did not like the double burger as it reminded her of meat loaf, it must of been frozen patties, the mozzarella sticks were very salty, the jalapeño poppers were really good, the calamari was very salty and very small pieces of squid usually calamari comes...
