Stopped for coffee & desserts recently while visiting family in the area. Food was good but took more than a half-hour to get our coffee. Service was very poor. Server was slow to take our order then we waited a long time to get our desserts. We were long done before we received our coffees. We asked for de-caf & were served regular. Last year we had a similar experience at lunchtime. Two strikes & we are out of here. No third time!
We had The Spot cater our July 2023 wedding and they were fantastic to work with from beginning to end! We had to postpone our wedding in December due to Covid and they were more than understanding and sympathetic, even though we were 5 days out. We rescheduled for July and were married in an older rural hall and they were able to travel the hour from Nipawin and still made it work! The food was easily accessible, warmed and hot! Decent enough restaurant. I had the burrito, which was well prepared fine but I didn't love the taste. The Caesar salad was nice but it was a little heavy on dressing. With those minor complaints aside, everyone else at the table loved what they had. They had a solid glutton free menu with separate friers. Service was slow but it was a busy time so hard to tell if that is the norm.
