Good review's made me eat here. Bar and restaurant atmosphere is soft with sufficient lighting. Feels very artsy with many leather-bound books and trophies. If you are lucky enough you might get a private booth with a more intimate dining experience. Ate the French onion soup shrimp scampi and lamb souvlaki. Excellent fresh ingredients and well prepared. It is still a great place to dine in! The food just isn't quite the same as it used to be , but overall still a great place! Prices are crazy these days too compared to what they were few years ago!
So. The first thing I encountered on my quest for the perfect Italian Mexican pizza, was a beautiful rendition of Mona Lisa. I felt like I was back in Louvre. EXCEPT: When I tried to eat pizza at Louvre, they threw me out. THIS DID NOT happen at Venice House. Ate pizza, admired Mona Lisa, got to stay until the end. Pop was good and not flat.
