“We've always loved Tipsy Samurai, but today they went above and beyond for us! My brother was in from out of town and we couldn't decide what to get so the staff offered us THE most amazing tasting menu. It was a perfect amount of everything for us and absolutely delicious, as per usual. We have yet to have a single bad experience at this restaurant and have been eating here for years.“
“I no longer live in Regina but had gone there for beers and really had no issues...got offsale a few time and there was blood on the sidewalk but it's the hood right ? I was just hoping they would have set up a " knife throwing section " there while waiting for a VLT machine. The place looks like the inside of a pirate ship with fake windows inside and when you get hammered there it rocks back ad forth like your in one !Make sure you're packing if you go there after dark...“
“Stopped by for lunch and it was so good. I had the taco salad with blackened chicken and it had the perfect amount of spice. My hubby had the crispy chicken burger with fries and gracy, you know it's good when he has a pile of used napkins. And their Caesars are very tasty.“
“I love coming here for lunch, the food is amazing, and the service is equally great. I recommend trying the Siciliana pizza with Italian sausage, ham, basil and spicy capicola; pair it with the velvety smoothe, rich, and savory fire roasted tomato bisque. You won't be disappointed!“
“Wife says prime rib was scrumptous. Lobster was excellent. My pork ribs were melt in your mouth and flavorful. There was pleasant music in the background but not so loud that we could not have a conversation without shouting. A very pleasant way to spend our 50th anniversary dinner.“
“the service was impeccable, every staff member we interaced with was genuinely happy and friendly. the food was incredible, we had the shrimp appy, lunch special (prime rib Bahn mi) and raspberry cheesecake for dessert. Filling and so flavorful! Definitely check this place out for a delicious lunch date!“
“I love this place, I've been going for maybe 2 or 3 years and it's probably my favourite restaurant.Service is always friendly, welcoming and accommodating, no matter whose working or what time. I had a birthday here one year and the staff was kind enough to allow us to bring an outside cake and even gave us plates for it :] (we asked when we made resverations if we could)Food's always delicous and they've never forgotten anything or a modifaction. They also have really good fries despite the theme of Korean-Japanese (they of course have good in theme food too). Their gyoza, fried chicken, kalbi, kimchi, and miso soup are all things I'd recommend. The atmosphere is very chill and calming, it's nice but not formal. It's very welcoming and soothing. If I had to say one thing that could be improved on, it would probably be accessibilty. This may be because of how the building was built before, but the only way up, to my knowledge, to the Cafe is stairs, no ramp. They might have a side door that can be used, but I haven't seen it or have seen any wheelchair users in there. The bathrooms may also not be big enough for a wheelchair user to transfer seats, but I don't know.Overall, I love this place, it's one of my go-to places and I will happily go again.Wheelchair accessibility: To my knowledge, the only way up to the place is the stairs at the front, there's no ramp. There may be a side door somewhere however. Also, I'm not certain that the bathroom would be big enough for a wheelchair user to transfer from chair to the toilet.“
“We tried Aragato for the first time as a special dinner for a birthday. We ordered take out and the presentation was absolutely stunning. The thoughtful details and careful attention was obvious. They even put a beautiful rose in the middle. The rolls were humungous, fresh and beyond delicious. We had leftovers the next day, and the rice was still moist. A bit more pricy than our last sushi place, but definitely worth every penny. Will make this our new go-to spot!“
“Roots has a great menu and the food Tastes great. However the restaurant is very small, making it very loud in there. My child is sensory problems had extreme difficulty. There is no hostess and no one to clean tables, leaving the 3 waitress to do it all. Those 3 waitress need help!“
“Our server was basically absent for the majority of the time for our table. Didn't acknowledge when any of us said thank you. But then was nice as pie and talkative with cuatomers at other tables. Not a good look! The food was good though!“
“When I arrived, server came up to me and I told her I was waiting for a friend. After waiting about 10 minutes, Zach, the manager, came over and asked if he could help. I told him the same thing and he said, "We have a nice table by the fireplace. Would you like to come and wait there?" I was very appreciative and of course, said I would. I am a huge fan of Caesar salad and very fussy about the dressing. Zach was nice enough to bring me a taste of dressing to try it out. It was great, so ordered that as well as the breaded shrimp....delicious! Only suggestion I would make is to serve real fresh parmesan cheese on the Caesar salad. Jen, our server, who was very pleasant, and Zach, came over periodically to see how we were doing and both were very comical....good laughs. Great food, great service! Zach, Zach, Zach!...What can I say?....You Rock!!“
“I love a little divey hole in the wall with amazing food! This place has breakfast that can't be beat. It's delicious, plentyful, and literally the most inexpensive breakfast in Regina. I hope they never change. We hit this place every few months when we want to play VLT's. What's better than breakfast and winning it all back?!Service is always great. They always ask if you want beans or salsa, and it's clean. It's a little dark, and the tables and chairs could use an upgrade, but it's part of its charm.Want breakfast cheaper, and better than McDonald's? Head here!“
“Get the beef dip! My husband and I went there and asked June (bartender) what her favorite food is and she said to get the beef dip! It was unbelievable! June is also super friendly and we would go back to Vic’s just to see June again…and to get the beef dip!“
“There was a guy outside I work at the planet lazer right over and there was a dude in a wich hat who asked me I smoked meth and then borrowed my phone and handed me a glass of something and I've got autism and am not great with pepole. but then a guy came out of the bar and asked if I smoked weed and knew about the guy I was with said he got kicked out he told me to put down his glass and he distracted the guy so I could get away. idk if he worked there but if he is reading this thanks it was scary for me to be in that situation“
“Zahirs has some of the cheapest drinks in town. Great bar staff, super personable and great food from both the bar and Sunnyside restaurant in the hotel. Their off sale has good prices and a growing selection since Brewster's shut down. I suggest checking this place out.“
