I found this place through a coworker a few years ago, and since then I have come into CP to get my baker's dozen few times. Fresh buns, friendly service. Though I would suggest giving the front end a little more of a welcoming makeover, but I'm not coming in to sit, just to get the buns! x) 5 STARS.
Haters gonna hate. If you can't be kind, obviously you have a bad attitude, 'cause China Pastry is LIT on the buns and the customer service. Love love love this shop <3

The bakery makes fresh batches all day and also offers day-old buns at a lower price, along with almond cookies, tarts, and cake rolls. While the outside may look run-down and the interior simple, the buns are absolutely incredible and unique in Regina. The owner is friendly and passionate about her work, making each visit special. Despite some slow service and occasional disorganization, many customers find this family-owned bakery a hidden gem worth visiting regularly.
