Staff were uneducated about allergens.I asked which items were vegan and they listed the Danish as an option. When I questioned the fact that it had custard, they assured me it was vegan, then said it was partially vegan. Another employee overheard and came over to look it up.It contained milk.Dietary restrictions: Their POS system had a function to look up the allergens in each item.If you have dietary restrictions make sure to have them look it up.
Shout out to their manager, Faith. I am rarely in the S end & haven't shopped at this Cobs in a very long time. A piece of my order wasn't put into my bag & I didn't realize it under I was back home in the very NW end of the city. Thankfully my Mom was going back to the S end the next day so I contacted the store & was able to get a pickup of my missing scone. The product here are fresh and top in quality, hence the price tag represents the value. It's not fair to compare them with other superstore products, which stays in shelves for many days.
