India House YQR, if you're from Regina you've likely heard of it.
Did you know, they now have THREE locations in the city?
South Albert (Buffet, Bar, Menu, HUGE space)
Chuka (Recently opened, Bar, Menu, gorgeous intimate space)
Rochdale (Opened tonight, absolutely gorgeous inside featuring a Justine Marie Studios feature wall) - I have one of these in my house as well, different colors but this is a food review page, so look for that on her business page LOL.
So I met the owner about 7 years ago, when he had just the South Albert location and we used to go regularily when living closer. We moved 2 years ago to the NW so we haven't gotten there nearly enough the past couple years.
Today, my life was completed when the Rochdale location opened!!
We went as a group of 5 on opening night and service, atmosphere, and food were ON POINT. The entire table agreed that it was the best Indian food they have eaten. (I'm not sure if any of them have eaten at the original or not which is the same quality).
I have eaten at almost every Indian restaurant in Regina and nothing compares to India House.
Liquor license comes Monday, so you'll be able to have a beer or cocktail when you have dinner. We weren't worried about booze as we went to show a great human our support by eating his amazing food (LOL)

Our Bill was $213.XX after taxes but before tip.
Where, can FIVE adults go get an absolutely Gourmet Ethnic meal for $200 these days?
I will add, there were leftovers, which would have fed another 1 or two people thus making it a $213 dinner for 6 or 7 adults (Unless you're a monster) LOL.

Between the locations, we have eaten likely 60% of the menu items and have never had a bad meal, bad service, or a second guess on our choice.

I ordered samosa chaat from India House through Uber Eats(18 Sep, 2025) and was really disappointed. The samosa inside was uncooked and the dish didn’t taste good. I have visited this restaurant before, and the service has always been nice — the staff are friendly and polite. But no matter how good the service is, if the food is not cooked properly, it ruins the experience. I hope they improve the quality of food for delivery orders.

I got straight up robbed here. Ordered the chicken tandoori online for what I thought was $14.95, but when I went to pick it up, they had the nerve to charge me $20.99. When I brought it to their attention, they just shrugged it off and said they'd updated the price online 🤣. Like, are you kidding me?! I showed them the screenshot, and you'd think they'd at least have the decency to apologize or offer a discount. Nope! The staff was rude, unprofessional, and honestly, thuggish. Don't waste your money or your time. Terrible experience! 👎

We recently had the pleasure of utilizing the catering service from India House for our summer backyard party, and I must say, it was an absolutely incredible experience! The food was not only delicious but also perfectly spiced and beautifully presented. Every bite was a delightful burst of flavors, showcasing the high quality of the ingredients used. The food truck experience was fantastic; all snacks and dinner items were served warm and freshly cooked. The enticing aroma wafting from the food truck created a fun and inviting atmosphere for our neighbors.
I would like to give special recognition to the servers and cooks, who made our experience even more enjoyable with their friendly demeanor and exceptional service. They were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout the event.
Additionally, a shout-out to Dharam Ji, who was instrumental in making this event a great success. His dedication and effort truly made a difference, and we are grateful for his time and commitment.
While the India House buffet is always a top choice in Regina, having the food truck cater our gathering added a unique and memorable element to the occasion. I highly recommend India House for your next event!

I visited this restaurant recently for the buffet and was quite disappointed with the experience. The mutton served was undercooked, and when I brought this to the server’s attention, my concern was dismissed without any apology or effort to address the issue.
It’s unfortunate because I was looking forward to the meal, but the lack of response and basic customer service really left a bad impression. My friend and I decided to finish our meal quickly, paid, and left — and we’ve agreed this will be our last visit.
I hope the management takes feedback like this seriously and works on both food quality and staff attentiveness.
Had a very unpleasant experience. We were traveling from Brandon To Calgary thought to stop in for a quick bite. The server took the order from us at 11:00Pm it was 11:40Pm no response about the food. I had to go ask the server how long is it going to be for our order. Reply was another 10-15mins despite the restaurant being empty. We had to walk out of there because we were getting late.

Their food truck takes up multiple stalls or parks straight illegally around the general hospital where parking is so limited. They will be there first thing in the morning to ensure those with mobility issues have to park further away. definitely lost any chance id try your restaurant with antics like this
