This is my second time here at Wasabi Rehina since i arrived a month ago. They have a wide variety of food to order - and they’re all delicious!
I tried to pre-order supper for New Years a day in advanced only to have it cancelled saying you can’t pre-order, try again tomorrow. Tried again (day of) around lunch time to order to have it cancelled again. Told again to try after 3:00 pm. Went to place order, NO times available for tonight. Wasabi Express Sushi & Teriyaki House offers a variety of dishes, including teriyaki lunch boxes, sushi platters, and sashimi. Fresh ingredients and good service are hallmarks of the restaurant. The teriyaki lunch box includes a salad, teriyaki, tempura, sushi, and miso soup. Sushi enthusiasts can also order platters with wasabi and soy sauce on the side.
The restaurant is co-located with a gas station and convenience store, but it is praised for its modestly cozy atmosphere and a variety of options, making it a recommended spot for sushi lovers. The food is described as amazing, with generous portions and great taste, especially in dishes like the California roll, shrimp udon soup, and jumbo rolls.
The owners, a Korean couple in their 50s, and the staff are noted for being friendly, sweet, and accommodating, contributing to the restaurant's popularity among local regulars. While the limited seating may be a drawback, many customers enjoy takeout options and consider Wasabi Express one of the best sushi places in town, making it a must-try.
