Tried Popeyes with the family, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. While the chicken was nice and crispy, the seasoning fell short — it lacked the bold, authentic Louisiana flavour we were expecting. The classic chicken sandwich was especially disappointing; the breast was filled with gristle, which made it unpleasant to eat. On the upside, the fries were hot, crispy, and well-seasoned. The gravy had good flavour but was far too watery to really enjoy. Overall, not the worst meal, but definitely not a top-tier chicken experience for us.

My chicken sandwich was ok, but on the bland side. It was crunchy though and the chicken was good. I should have got the Cajun version. The onion rings were on, your typical deep dried ones. But the strawberry cream pies are to die for!
