Their coffee is generally well regarded, though I find their regular coffee a bit too strong. They offer a wide variety of drinks, from classic drip coffee to elaborate Frappuccinos. The food menu includes pastries and sandwiches.“

Drinks are consistent with what you’d expect from Starbucks, and there’s a good selection of snacks and light bites. Parking is convenient, though it can get a little busy during peak hours. “Used to order here time to time. Only place in the city where the app will work properly for app challenges (sadly, their US HQ doesn't care about Canada). One time had a botched order via size and they made things right. Cannot say the same about the newer locations in town (past 5 years).“

“It's Starbucks. You know what it is, even though they change the menu pretty often. Good atmosphere compared to Timmy's but more pricey. People have noticed lately the coffee quality has declined. I'm a latte guy and it's still the same. And that's kind of the problem. 2 bucks more than Timmy's but tastes the same. It's cleaner, I would say, but then they get your name wrong and there you go. In their defense, the local, independent places do not offer better drinks cheaper. Only Timmy's is cheaper. Our South End bookstore Starbucks was the very first to be unionized in the whole world. Good atmosphere there and good service. Coffee? The same. Prices? The same. But, let's be honest: our coffees are not the best. You want the best coffee, it's in Europe or you get yourself to a coffee farm and fresh off the trees.“

The place itself was clean, cozy, and not overly crowded. I loved that there were plenty of outlets and seating, so it’s a good spot if you want to get some work done.

It is very seldom that I have to wait for my order. It is usually waiting there as I am walking in to get it.

The staff are very friendly with the very little amount of dealings I have with them picking up my order.“
