It could have been a better experience for sure. Food and atmosphere were okay, but I've never been asked how the bill is going to be paid before ordering. Incredibly rude server.

No exaggeration — this is the best dining experience and food in all of Saskatchewan. The quality and service are consistently excellent every single time. Nothing else comes close.

The Cottage Restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our visit special.
The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite felt like comfort and quality combined, whether it was a hearty breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The attention to detail in both service and dishes truly sets this place apart.
Perfect for family outings, casual meals, or a cozy date, The Cottage Restaurant delivers an unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommended!

The vibe is cozy but our waitress was very rude. The food (got the fettuccine) was 30$ and very tasteless. If I’m spending money next time it will be somewhere where we’re treated nicely and get better food for your buck. Overall disappointing.

I'm here only for a couple days and glad I found this place early on. Steak - amazing. Athena chicken - amazing. They even bring a tray of desserts to your table to choose from. And you guessed it - amazing. Tomorrow I'm going to have the veal cutlets. I'm told it's the most popular item on the menu (and cheapest).
You know a place is good when you're already looking forward to your next meal. It's totally a hidden gem.

Only place in Regina that fries patatoes in love oil but not canola or some other burned oil I bet! Best fried patotoies in town! Thank you!
The Cottage has very good food with a family style menu and great service. L

Have been coming to the Cottage for special occasions for years. On our recent anniversary we were very disappointed with the service and the attitude of our server. The food was below the Cottage's usual standard with too much butter/oil/grease. The prices are outrageous for the quality presented. Except for the prices, the menu hasn't changed in years. The Cottage decor is tired.

We wanted to have 20 guys to their restaurant but they couldn't accommodate BUT aren't they going to want more than 20 come to their place? Going to a more accommodating place in regina

The waiter and service were good. The food was disappointing for the price. The dinner salad was a bowl of very fine shredded lettuce with a bit of very finely crumbled feta cheese on top and a couple of small tomato wedges. It was saturated in what I would not call salad dressing, but just straight oil which had no flavour but just an oily taste. I ate most of the protein and potatoes on the main course but the whole plate was overloaded with melted butter and I could not eat the finely julienned vegetables saturated in it. To sum it up, a dinner of too much oil and buttery grease. Then we were overcharged and had to spend time getting the bill straightened out.
