The server wrote down no tomatoes but they were added to the salad, there were a lot. I tried the Babco steak and added mushrooms and shrimp. The shrimp were very small and they covered them in the mushrooms. Not very many mushrooms or shrimp. The steak was over cooked and poor quality. My onion soup and server were the highlight of my visit

Took my grandsons out for supper and so disappointed in the meal, service and price . Wish I thought of taking a photo of food but I wish I knew . The service.. I had to ask for almost everything once we walked in. Maybe not enough staff but meal took 45 minutes .. 10 in the bar .. called to be served, for napkins, water , refills etc. the food portions were so small , the calamari$20 was not enough for one let alone share. Steak fatty $35 , left half , chicken Parmesan smaller than your palm $22 . Price for 3 $175 outrageous for a 11 yr old , one adult and one senior! 2 beer the rest our meals; this is Bar food !! Not going back ! How can one afford to .

Waited an hour for food with only a few tables of people. Then 20mins to pay the bill. Only one server and a bartender who were running their butts off trying so hard! Not there fault. Kitchen service was terrible. Very understaffed! We were here last summer and had the same issues. Won’t be coming back here again. Ever
Went to there last night and the service was terrible. Sat for 10 minutes before our drink order was taken. We had to find and signal for our server as we were ready to order our food and more drinks. Can’t comment on the food as our server forgot to put our order in (after we’d asked and had waited 30 minutes by now). Minutes later our server came back and told us she had forgotten to put our food order in and that the kitchen was really backed up and would be awhile🤦♀️. We paid for the one drink we’d been served and left! Service at Boston Pizza next door was great!

This was our 3rd visit it was by far the best of all the other times. There was a fund raiser going on and it was a little loud. The waitress we had was absolutely the best. I wish I knew her name. Because of her I will definitely go back again.

I was honestly surprised this place was open still with places like Leo’s and Victoria’s in the neighbourhood and then Birminghams just down the road.
The Tap is like an old dog that is just hanging on when it should have been put down already.
Service is terrible, food is marginal and the prices aren’t anything to get excited about either.
I would recommend several other northwest Regina places before stopping in at this one.

Sunday March 23, 2025: I’ve been to the Tap several times before but I don’t think I’ll be back, I was so completely disappointed in my food ! I ordered the lettuce wraps. What arrived was a bowl of rice noodles with some chili Thai sauce, a FEW pieces of chicken and a FEW veggies. For $20! I literally could barely believe what I was seeing and my waitress could tell. She right away said “there’s usually more veggies in there, would you like me to bring extra?” I was so dumbfounded at what I was served I said no thanks, however another waitress came by (for some reason we had 2 servers) and I asked her for more and she brought them…. However it was a long wait and my dish was not that warm by that time. I’ve ordered lettuce wraps at other places and this is NOT what I expected. The kitchen staff was either untrained or didn’t care. The servers were great, however…. We were there for line dancing and when that began, they literally stopped coming by. We took lots of breaks so there was opportunity to do so but we got no further attention. Really disappointed. But there are lots of other great restaurants and the Tap will no longer be my north end go-to.
