Stopped by for a late lunch on Saturday and ended up staying almost two hours just because the spot by the window was too good to give up. The staff remembered my order was a oat milk matcha when I came back to ask a question, which is a small thing but it stuck with me. Their egg tart was warm and flaky in a way that a lot of places just don't bother getting right anymore. Parking around that block can be tight on weekends, so budget a few extra minutes if you're driving over.
We stopped in on a Sunday morning and were glad we did, the place had a relaxed, sunny vibe that made it easy to linger over coffee. My husband ordered the matcha latte and I had the taro bun, both were fresh and clearly made with care. The staff were friendly and didn't rush us even though we camped out at our table for almost an hour chatting and people watching. Parking was easy to find right out front too, which made the whole stop even more pleasant for us retirees out sightseeing.
