“It was a Sunday and we wanted a meal to go, our bnb was down the road. The customer service from beginning ro end was top notch. The polite woman on the phone was clear and professional. When I arrived early the women offered me a water or pop while I waited, but there were pinball games to keep me entertained. Food was hot and fresh. Lasagna and fish and chips were tasty. Packaged nicely and added cutlery was a nice touch.“

“The roof top patio is the absolute best, but the inside area is super cool too. Added bonus kids are allowed in the inside area till 5pm so families can enjoy the great pub fare food as well. Staff is awesome, fun and quick. Broadway is an absolute gem in this city, easily feels like you swapped cities with Montreal or vancouver. Will most certainly be back“

“I’ve gone here almost every day for lunch for the last month. So I feel as though I can offer a legitimate analysis.
French fries: such a small and mundane piece of food, yet every other restaurant feels the need to give you pre frozen fries. Clark’s on the other hand, every single time has given me freshly cut fries that are fantastic and have not wavered once in their quality or taste. A simple thing that really stands out.
Their burgers are excellent and not that standard tiny patty. Ive got the stacked burger which included a large beef patty, bacon, mushrooms, the works, AND A WHOLE FRIED CHICKEN BREAST. Which by the way was hand breaded and cooked fresh. That’s another thing that many places just reheat frozen chicken patties.
Their soup is very good and made fresh every day.
Their salads are consistently good with fresh and crunchy lettuce.
Their wings are quite good, I’m just not a huge wing fan so I can’t offer much of an opinion.
Fish and chips is very good.
Dried ribs are excellent especially on Wednesday when they’re a ten dollar meal.
Their healthy options are there but they are a pub, so be ready for that hearty and greasier food.
The prices on a regular day are good. But their daily specials are unbeatable. You can eat an entire meal, leave full, for under 15 dollars including your drink.
Which brings me to my next point: the house lager is very good and very fairly priced. They also have drink specials every day and recognize their customer base, so they discount beers people actually drink, like Pilsner. Most places discount drinks nobody cares about. Not Clark’s.
The atmosphere is nice and feels like a pub. Lots of VLTs if that’s what you’re in to, that look to be kept clean and have a reasonably set RTP as I see lots of people collect every day.
My final point is that the service is great and tentative and they make us feel like friends.
My only criticism is that my fat arse needs multigrain buns, while your normal buns are delicious and fresh, could you please get me some gross multigrain bread for those of us trying to watch the belt line? 😂“

“I've had the Skirt Burger twice in the past month and it is the most unique burger I've come across! It's a burger with a pad of melted cheese made to look like a skirt! I think it's one of my favourites! Will be back again! The food tasted homemade especially the onion rings!“

“I stopped in for breakfast a couple of times recently, as well as picked up takeaway once.

They have a $8.99 weekend breakfast special, and let's face it - there's not many place where you can get an affordable breakfast like that anymore.

It's your typical breakfast special offering - 2 eggs, choice of meat, potatoes and toast.

Everything was prepared well, and very delicious and delicious every time.

Between the three times I had the breakfast, I tried all three of the meats. The bacon was good, but pretty standard. The pea meal bacon was a nice change of pace. The sausage was much better than expected. They're not the standard breakfast sausages you get at most places - they're thick and full of flavor.

The potatoes were also a nice change of pace. They weren't your standard hash browns. They were small potatoes, halved and seasoned really nicely.

The service was fast and friendly - I never had to wait for a refill of coffee or water.

Nice atmosphere too. I hadn't been in the building for many years, but I like what they they did with the renovations and changes inside.

I highly recommend you try the breakfast special!

Edit: As much as I enjoyed the food and service, I don't think I'll be back. I was wondering why there were so many 1 star reviews, so I went back to read them. I believe in free speech and don't support woke businesses that discriminate and turn away customers based on opinions about politics, reproductive rights ar anything similar.“

“wish I could give 0 stars. would not recommend whatsoever. my friend was jumped in the males washroom and staff did nothing. absolutely nothing to help or keep the patrons safe. a racist and disgusting environment. such a shame. useless staff at this establishment. they won't keep you safe.“

“Came in last night with a colleague. He ordered the avocado chicken sandwich and I the steak sandwich. My order was completely overcooked and the replacement was not super prompt. However the staffs response was a piece of customer service I have not service in a long time. Genuine concern, respect and communication. Job well done on turning a negative experience into a very positive one. Would recommend.“

“So, a couple of coworkers and I stopped by for a drink after a Christmas party. The waitress took our order and they went to the washroom. She waited until they came back to actually deliver the drinks. Which is why I am giving this place seven stars out of 5. In this day and age, ensuring the health and safety of everyone is extremely important. And while I look like a master of roofies, I assure you I’m not. But it doesn’t matter. “We ordered a pizza a few weeks back for my daughter as my husband and I wanted wings and salad. Of course I had to have a taste. It was sooooo good! So of course we had to order a couple more pizzas 2 nights ago for a family gathering. The crust is so yummy and all the toppings are so good. I’ll never order pizza from a pizza joint again as I’m ruined for all other pizza. This is now my go to. Everything I’ve ever eaten there was very good so I shouldn’t be surprised but yum yum yum!“

“I have never actually ordered food here since kitchen is closed by midnight. The ladies behind the bar are alwasy very nice, ladies on floor are a bit rude, bouncers are welcoming and polite. The atmosphere is always a vibe but the ladies washrooms are horrid. Love the DJ's but if I could suggest like a $5 fee to jump the gun for song requests and actually get a chance to hear the song being requested. Could possibly be a great idea.“
