“This location is my favorite Sub shop in the city. The staff is always excellent; polite & friendly & attentive. The ingredients at Mr. Sub are always truly fresh, and the bread as well. Wednesday daily special is a banger, 'Louisiana Pepper Chicken'. They have a couple really nice vegetarian options, too, and at reasonable, non-inflated prices (it's lame to ever have to pay more anywhere for eating extra healthy). “I don't always write about a place I eat at but thought it was worth mentioning..I am not a big fan of Subway..I find the bread tastes like a yoga mat...not that I have eaten yoga mats but it tastes funny...Tonight I was filling the car with gas on 8th St just before heading to the lake. I wanted to garb some supper and there was a Mr Sub right there...So I thought something quick and easy to eat for my drive to the lake. Well let me tell you I really enjoyed it. He told me which were the 3 most popular subs so I picked one..There was lots of choices for what kind of bread so he asked if he could make e a sub. He surprised me with the Greek bread..I like it...I loaded up with veggies and he said that I would really like it...and guess what..I did. The bread tasted like bread. Everything was fresh and tasted really good. So if you ever want to try something different for a sub give Mr Sub a whirl..And to the gentleman who promised me that I would like you were correct..I did. So Thank you Mr Sub and the great guy that made me a really good sub....“

“I was in on Sunday Sept 15th after 10 Pm, there was an absolute amazing worker! A young woman, I’m unsure of her name but she made my experience amazing! I had just gotten off of work and was craving subway, the worker was so polite and friendly, we made polite small talk about work, she made my sub with so much care, (wasn’t so sloppy like most subways)! I will definitely be returning! This employee deserves a raise! She has amazing customer service and is such a great worker!! :)“

“I had a great experience at Subway thanks to the friendly and efficient service provided by the young lady working there her name is Tamala. I came there by 10after and order my veggie delight. She was polite, patient, and really attentive to every detail of my order. My sandwich was made perfectly, and she kept a positive attitude the entire time, even during a busy rush. It’s always a pleasure being served by someone who clearly cares about their job. Keep up the great work! And another guy he is also have a good humor and asking for everyting for my order. “Giving 5 stars only because of Khushi. The service is hit & miss, depends on the staff. Usually when we go there another staff member (not Khushi) is there and she won't even look in our general direction while taking order. Won't greet or acknowledge customers and is generally in a bad mood & can't wait to see our back. We live very near to this subway and we normally dread going there due to the general lack of service but today morning we where in for a big surprise because of Khushi and full credits to her for that. She greets people, smiles, ask what we need & really had a good few minutes there. If the owners of this subway is reading this please take note.“

“Not impressed at all with the one young female staff. She had put maybe 5 small leaves of spinach on my wrap and when I asked for more she actually made a humph noise. She is very cheap with all of the vegetables. After my order was completed my son overheard her talking about me to the other staff member. How very unprofessional, I have been to this Subway a number of times and always had very friendly professional service. This was the first time I have experienced these two teenage staff. I am all for teens working but some training in professionalism and customer service would go a long way. I will never go back!

“I was here on March 17 around 9pm and can’t say enough about the outstanding service I received at Subway today. The employee went above and beyond to make sure my sandwich was perfect. From the fresh ingredients to the careful assembly, it was easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had in any Subway. Their positive attitude and attention to detail really stood out!“

“I am not usually the type to write a comment for/on someone but as a woman I felt like I had to.
My overall experience was good they are running a good business but the only thing that triggered me was how they treating their staff, the guy who was doing nothing and just screaming his lungs out on a poor girl working there made me so devastated. I don’t know what language he was speaking but it felt like he was being very harsh on her and she couldn’t say anything to him while the other employee was also very kind I told her about my allergies and she offered me fresh vegetables instead of the ones on top, that impressed me the most.

“I was in the city for appts. Beforehand myself and 2 others agreed on Subway for supper. I was in the north end and found this location on Google. The 2 ladies working today were absolutely wonderful. They made our 3 subs perfect and when I say perfect I mean no dripping mess when we ate. They were super friendly, bubbly and happy spirited. The restaurant was super clean too!! I highly recommend this location on 51st if you want great subs, fantastic service and a clean environment. I know this is my go to Subway in the city now. Recently, there has been a trainee working, and honestly?

“My wife went in to pick up 5 subs. I had asked her to get me a 12 inch flat bread sub. I recieved a 12 inch sub on a tortilla. She was told thats what they have for flat bread. I ended up with a 6 inch wrap for the cost of a 12 inch sub. Word to the wise order a bun if visiting this location.“

“I have become a regular at this place. The usual girls who work here are amazing, they’ve memorized my order and suggest new things each time I come in. It’s very welcoming.
Today however, when I went in to get my regular, a (most likely) new girl was there. Very short and to the point, no friendly banter or a smile even. Had to ask to get veggies on the grill and just threw my pita together.
I will come back here but I’m not a fan of the lack of customer service with this employee.“

“We had #5 chicken ranch. It lists what goes in but I still have to order the individual cheese and vegi's. If I wanted a change to the listed ingredients, I would say something. Otherwise, just ask about the kind of bread and if I want it toasted.“
