very upset yesterday we had ordered pizza as and lasagne as my mother and daughter had come by this is are usual go to spot I recommend to anybody and everybody. It was awful one of the pizzas was so overcooked almost burnt the whole bizza looked brown on the top the chicken on the ch/bacon Ranch tasted spoiled or the sauce was bitter to the point it was unedable and the wilted lettuce for the ceaser was wilted where half the salad wasn't even worth finishing. Delicious and fulfilling.
Back in day the it was a given Verns was the best pizza in town, no contest (day = 90's) they got sold and slowly the reputation was destroyed. I finally gave up on them some years ago. A friend told me they were back on track so I decided to try again. The cost was a shock (15 bucks more than pizza pirates) but old skool Verns rule was one slice was worth 2 regular pizza slices.
