“Right when I walked in I knew it was going to be a great place. The owner(I think) was very friendly and you can tell he was happy to be there n passionate about his restaurant. That is something that is very refreshing to see bc its not to common in the restaurant business nowadays. Ultimately excellent little hole in the wall ethiopian coffee shop with great pastries. Their sambusa was easily the best ive had, packed with lentils and spice that just kept going making every bite packed with tons of flavor that you have to go back for. The coffee was really good as well especially for the price. Everything nowadays your paying at least 5$ for a small cup of coffee so it was refreshing seeing their prices. Will definitely be going back again for some cheap coffee.

“The food here is fantastic, some of the best I've ever had. My only criticism would be that you don't get quite enough of it for what you pay. I never leave quite full, but close to it. Other than that it would be nice if we were waited upon a bit quicker, but that's a very minor complaint.“

“I'm from Los Angeles and was craving Ethiopian food. The owner was nice and prepared a large plate of meat and vegetables to our preferred spice level. The food was accompanied with copious amounts of moist injera bread. We also had a pot of Ethiopian coffee from a clay pot and it was excellent.“

“Great food, carryout only, jets roaring overhead. They currently only have 2 dishes: beef tips and vegan combo. We had the vegan option. We got a huge serving, enough for 2 meals! The taste was excellent! You can eat outdoors on one of their 2 picnic tables. One negative is that it's in the flight path for planes landing at BNA.“

“It’s a WHOLE experience!! Ze knows what you need & serves up the most beautifully presented soul satisfying dishes of edible happiness! & eating with your fingers is so so fun & let’s the inner child play. Finish ‘er off with a traditional freshly roasted coffee in the cutest lil’ pot to share. Pleasantly plump & ready for a food coma nap 🤤“
