“We had a great dinner at Abem!! The owners were very kind, and the food was delicious. We got the Abem Special Kifto and the Lamb Tims, plus some spiced tea and baklava. Lots of gluten-free and vegetarian options if that’s what you’re looking for, but we highly recommend for anyone!“

“The best sambusa ever I love it“

“Right when I walked in I knew it was going to be a great place. The owner(I think) was very friendly and you can tell he was happy to be there n passionate about his restaurant. That is something that is very refreshing to see bc its not to common in the restaurant business nowadays. Ultimately excellent little hole in the wall ethiopian coffee shop with great pastries. Their sambusa was easily the best ive had, packed with lentils and spice that just kept going making every bite packed with tons of flavor that you have to go back for. The coffee was really good as well especially for the price. Everything nowadays your paying at least 5$ for a small cup of coffee so it was refreshing seeing their prices. Will definitely be going back again for some cheap coffee.

“I had an amazing experience at Abbisinia Ethiopian Restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The ambiance is cozy and filled with traditional Ethiopian decor, which adds to the cultural experience.

Ze knows what you need & serves up the most beautifully presented soul satisfying dishes of edible happiness! & eating with your fingers is so so fun & let’s the inner child play. I heard it was very spicy, which scared me a little, but our hostess explained all the menu options to us and said they can customize the spice level! Excellent food and excellent service! “Great food, carryout only, jets roaring overhead. They currently only have 2 dishes: beef tips and vegan combo. We had the vegan option. We got a huge serving, enough for 2 meals! The taste was excellent! You can eat outdoors on one of their 2 picnic tables. One negative is that it's in the flight path for planes landing at BNA.“
