“We used to go here before they moved n we loved it. We were disappointed that the internet said they are open til 11pm but they didn’t share that they stop serving food at 9 pm. The food got quite expensive since they moved. We went here about a month ago and had the steak tips that we split and got the macaroni and cheese n some sort of root sticks that were like potatoes n were very good. They were out of the plantain which was disappointing at the time. We got a side of beans n rice which was good but these are all very very small portions now and we think it’s pricy though the food is good, we shouldn’t have to split a meal to afford it. So glad that we got to enjoy some singing while we were there also. That was fun. We don’t drink alcohol so we don’t know about any of that. We do recommend this place if you can afford it cuz all of the food we ordered was good.”

All were full of smiles, very attentive to customers at the counter, helpful with questions and quick with those tasty samples. Everyone of my party enjoyed their dessert and look forward to a return visit, maybe several.”

“Love the vanilla yogurt with caramel syrup. Banana split very delicious too. You can't go wrong when you want a cold treat at The Dairy Barn in Athens. Plenty of free parking. An outdoor dining area complete with two restooms. I highly recommend The Dairy Barn as the best ice cream restaurant in Athens.”

“We love this coffee shop, but recently they have changed their espresso beans and unfortunately they taste burnt with no complexity. Worse than Starbucks Burt. Wondering if there’s any chance they might go back to the old beans or offer a back up option? I understand they wanted to work with a local roaster, but perhaps they could consider the taste … 😕over local. 13-15 of our friends and family feel the same way so I don’t think it’s just me 💜”

“this place is basically a lil shack with 3 older ladies working it. we ordered burgers and hot dogs. the burger was very good it is a hand made patty very juicy. they keep kind of odd hours 1030 to 545 during the week and 1030 til 245 on Saturday. I will definitely go back if nothing else to talk to those 3 ladies and have a great burger.”

“Love the bamboo entrance. I personally am not a seafood fan and certainly not a sushi fan..if you like both of those things, you will without a doubt love this place. I'm a picky eater and didn't really know what to expect but they had hibachi chicken so it all worked out and was really good. Excellent service too ??”

“we got the brisket. because it says that it is slow cooked for 23 hours. well if it was why was it tuff to chew up and hard to eat. 23 hours the brisket should have been very tender almost falling apart. I don't recommend the brisket at Michael's at all unless you like tuff chewy meat. I do not recommend. Michael's”

She didn't just serve us our food, but she also gave us the history of the building and had great manners and respect. The atmosphere was fantastic. Being old timey with a pair of newer aestetic, it felt like I was at home. The food was amazing, being cheap and affordable but so delicious at the same time. Overall, this is the best restaurant I've ever been to.”

“Wow, I have never had a bad experience here and think if I did that I would speak to an employee. Everyone is attentive, nice and friendly. The drive thru flows smoothly at an appropriate rate for fresh food. I have always loved the stuff crabs but keep forgetting to order them lately.”

“Love that Athens has a full service Dairy Queen. Employees and managers are great to work with. They continue to work to improve their atmosphere and service, so I'm not going to mark them off for that. In fact, they made sure the service issues I had were corrected and comp'd the whole meal back to us. By the way, we love their burgers and of course the gravy ;). We appreciate this!

“I have not got to try their baked goods here. But I can tell you how beautiful the place is inside and out! Had Dave cater our wedding and the food was amazing! Made me have to buy a smoker and look up some recipes. Definitely recommend Sunshine Hollow and all they have to offer!”

“I travel. I make it a point to stop places and if I like the place I make it a destination stop as here. I do not travel hungry sorry. But the "small" Subway has enough sitting room, clean and busy. Prices are not my concern if I go in anywhere to eat. I don't like the price I just don't go back. Here and now is not my first time stopping there.”

“Freakin love Cook Out! Open really late, burgers, hot dogs, chicken, quesadillas, onion rings etc not to mention any kind of shake you can imagine (well of edible ingredients. I don't think a bullet and scabs shake would be made and who would want one anyway!). All these things and more and prices are CHEAP! YAY!. Also I have not been to a Cook Out (including this one) that I have gotten unfriendly service. These folks are so nice and I'm talking at 3am. God bless y'all for working those hours to feed, for the most part, those who came from the bar or those who came from the bong, with fast and friendly service!”

“Andrew is the best bartender there is, I go to Applebee’s when he is working. There’s two sets of people at this Applebee’s, 5pm crowd and the 8pm crowd. Different vibes but overall good people.”
