We went here for a homeschool field trip and had a great experience. The gift shop is nice and has quite a bit of stuff in it. We started about by watching at 12 minute movie about the history of Mayfield. I’ve drank Mayfield on and off most of my life so this was interesting to me. We then all had to put hair nets on to enter the factory. Our tour guide was great about explaining what was going on. Loved learning the history and facts about Mayfield. Some of how much they make a day is astounding. Will definitely be going back woth the kids.

Mayfield Dairy is a popular stop for ice cream lovers. The Pirates Treasure and Cherry Chocolate flavors are especially tasty. The large parking areas, including space for RVs, make it easy to visit and relax. While the location is a little farther from the interstate, it is a good place to take a break and enjoy some delicious ice cream. The tour is fun and informative for all ages, and admission is very reasonably priced. Visitors also appreciate the clean bathrooms and dog-friendly environment, making it a convenient stop between long drives.
