Mayfield Dairy is a worthwhile stop for ice cream lovers. The Pirates Treasure and Cherry Chocolate flavors are particularly delicious. The dairy offers a tour that showcases the packaging process, including milk jugs and cartons being filled, as well as ice cream containers being filled. The tour ends with a free double-scoop ice cream cone, a nice surprise. The gift shop has something for everyone, and the parking lot is spacious with handicapped parking near the door. While the tour has several sets of steps, the store and ice cream shop are wheelchair accessible.
