Starbucks in Bartlett

“Excellent staff!

I’m often told that chain restaurants and coffee shops are all the same. Yes, and no. Yes, in that the menu, no matter where in the world you find yourself, is the same. For those of us that are always on the road, that can be very comforting. Chain restaurants, and cafés for the most part have guidelines on food preparation. Trust me, in some countries that matters a great deal. The no to my answer is because it’s always about the staff. I’m sure you understand what I’m getting at.
This morning, I was pleasantly surprised at Starbucks. The entire staff behind the counter was visibly busy. Big surprise for a Starbucks, right? But several of the members took the time to not only greet customers as they came in, but also kept checking and on those that were seated. While I sat enjoying my coffee a young teenager stepped up to the register to order. I put him at about 12. This may or may not have been his first time ordering coffee. As I looked on, he seemed a little apprehensive. The staff member behind the counter, helped him with lead questions about his order, and did it with a smile. He definitely made the young person feel comfortable. I don’t know, I thought it was kind of cool. Try walking up to a counter, not knowing what kind of coffee you wanna order in New York City!
Despite a busy café, the restaurant was very clean.
