Good eats. All the food is fresh, no frozen foods. The owner shops every 2 days to replenish supplies. If you are out hiking at Window Cliffs or Burgess Falls, give this place a shot.

Amazing food. The place is neat and clean and the owners are down-home good folk. I love finding these places off the beaten path. You just have to get off the highways every now and then and take the scenic routes.Well worth the detour.

My family visited this restaurant after hiking at Burgess falls state park and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The food was made to order by the family that owns the restaurant, and they even offered a hot dog (free of charge!) for my dog after providing a bowl of water. Support local businesses, the owners were incredibly kind and helpful.The food was SO GOOD. There was a wait (as I said, made to order fresh), but it was well worth it. We ate outside with some beautiful views, and had no leftovers. The burger was juicy and full loaded, and all the sides were amazing. Try the desserts as well (all made by the owners), the carrot cake and chocolate peanut butter pie were our favorites. I meant to take pictures to post but we were so hungry, I forgot! My family and I would highly recommend!

A rare gem to say the least! I stopped by today and I was overly impressed with the location, the food, the staff and the hospitality. I mean, it is the south and nothing can beat a heapin' helpin' of Southern hospitality nor their food. I ordered the catfish platter and it was amazing! Freshly battered and cooked to perfection. Each bite had the perfect amount of crunch and flaky tenderness! The white beans were flawlessly flavored...they complemented the fish superbly! And the hush puppies were phenomenal. I finished my meal off with a slice of chocolate peanut butter pie and let me just say...it was heavenly! Each layer was impeccably flavorful and the crust was delectable. Portions are generous; both savory and dessert. The outside seating is plentiful and overlooks a small body of water. I am more than satisfied with my dining experience from beginning to end. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a great home cooked meal with a side of Southern hospitality.

Decided to take a chance on this place after hiking at Burgess Falls, and we were blown away by how delicious and fresh the food was. It was obviously homemade fresh. The catfish is perfect. The hush puppies are light, airy and flavorful. The pimento mac and cheese and white beans were delicious. I don't eat meat but my family seemed to love it. Even the sweet tea was obviously homemade and the right amount of sweet. 5 stars! This place absolutely deserves your business!

Cheryl and Robert are the best. Family owned, made with love, the best food i have had in a long time. The catfish and the pulled pork are fresh and homemade, the hush puppies...OMG. Make sure you stop when visiting Buegees falls.
