“The new york strip and filet hibachi was cooked perfect at medium rare like we requested. The fried rice and veggies were great as well. I would have really liked some ginger sauce with the meal but asked for some tempura sauce at it went nicely. Over-all, service was good and location is great here in town. My daughter ordered the sushi bento box and said it was good. Definitely will come back. Thank you guys!“

“We've been coming to Legends Steakhouse in Shelbyville for years, and this was hands down the best service we've ever received. Our server Sydney, was incredibly sweet and went above and beyond. We were traveling with horses and a horse trailer, and she even filled up our horses' water bucket to make sure they had fresh water. It's not always easy to find places that are accommodating when you're hauling horses, so that level of kindness meant a lot to us.
The food, as always, was excellent, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. The only thing I miss is seeing the Walking Horse pictures that used to be displayed on the walls. I always enjoyed those and would love to see them brought back.

“The ambiance was a flashback to my earlier days. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Now for the food...WOW! I had the chicken and dressing and my husband had the catfish...both of which were excellent. Dessert was definitely the icing on the cake, as I got the Hummingbird cake which was the best I've ever tasted. We will be back and enjoy more amazing food.“

“Great southern cooking just like Grandma used to make. My wife and I are there today and can definitely recommend the catfish and smothered pork chops. Our waitress was excellent and provided professional and friendly service. She transformed our dinner from a blasé experience into a memorable one. As a former head waiter and trainer for several white tablecloth restaurants I would have considered myself lucky to have had her in my employ. We will definitely be returning again, in spite of a 1-1/2 hour drive each way to try all of the great items on their menu!“
