The complimentary fresh bread with herbed olive oil was lovely. Crab cakes appetizer was delicious. Enjoyed the chicken piccata entree and had plenty left over to take home. Atmosphere was warm and cozy. Despite it being very busy, it didn't get so loud that we couldn't hear each other talk, which is a problem I encounter at a lot of other restaurants.Kid-friendliness: The tables are covered with paper and crayons are offered for the kids to draw on it and keep them entertained....read full review
Molto bene! I am an American girl of Italian descent, and I’ve had some delizioso cibo italiano - this was my first time at Amerigo but it will not be my last! Not only was I impressed with the menu options (happy they weren’t the typical offerings at all other Italiano ristorantes) absolutely delighted with the food, and thrilled with the impeccable stellar service from Rebekah! My second favorite server in the Nashville area… only because my daughter is my first. ?

The food is delicious but I feel like the prices are higher than what they should be for what they are selling. Our server forgot our drinks, didn't bring items requested, etc. I ordered coffee and had to request it 3 times before it was brought to the table. At $29 for an entree, I expect better service than what was received.
