Shogun JPN Steakhouse of Brentwood

A great place to bring kids! The hibachi is always fun, but the experience really depends on the chef. Some chefs are incredibly skilled and do a fantastic job interacting with everyone and keeping the table entertained, while others only do a few simple tricks with very little interaction. I’ve been here many times, so it’s really just luck of the draw. The food is always good, though!

My family celebrates there at least 1 or more a month for birthdays. The people who own and the son who now runs it are pathetic and they lie ! We had a reservation they did have it ready and split us up. They were rude , and condescending. They must think they are only game in town. Food is average, however our chef was good. We will never return there. I have already found a better alternative in Cool Springs.

The purpose of a Japanese steakhouse is to not only provide great food, but to entertain. The chef did a really good job entertaining but in doing so he overcooked my shrimp, scallops and lobster, which of course is a real big problem with that type of food!

I come here a lot because the food is so good. Today I met the best server ever, Christine. She got me very thing I needed, any special requests, she did it. She always had my water refilled and went wayyyyy above and beyond for everything I needed. She is a very special person and very sweet. I have never had a better server!! If you want a really good server, request her!

It has the atmosphere you want! The service is so great and staff are so nice! I left the other Hibachi Restaurants because they felt like a place missing their roots. This is my go to now!

This used to be the best place to go if you wanted hibachi. But there's other places nowadays there is good or better. So this is kind of middle of the road now.

Food was good, had a 3 meals they combined them but the tried to add an additional 18% to the total but they already added 15% because we were in a party of 10+ plus my daughter’s meal also was in a party of 10+, why try to add additional 18% to the total???
