Boathouse Rotisserie & Raw Bar

Eating for Easter with the family. Had a simple request of crispy fries ( which means leaving them dropped for another 45 seconds - 1 minute) was told that was not allowed that the restaurant was cracking down on customers request. It will be my last request as it will be my last visit. Well done Boathouse.

Folks will hate the review, but this place ultimately SUCKS. Not only do they refuse your drink requests outside of what is in the menu because what they make is based on “what is listed on the menu” and “what they can serve” (which is B.S according to TN alcohol laws), but food is extremely overpriced and under quality in an environment that is excessively loud, crowded, and with staff that are in a rush with no customer service skills. We were more than willing to spend $100 on great food and drinks for two people as we expected quality food/drinks, customer service, and great vibes, but this place does not deliver. If you’re looking for decent seafood and a great stress-free, non-over-stimulating environment, please choose elsewhere cause this place ain’t it.

Love this place. Quit being stingy with the salsa. Should a serving not a sample.

OMG! This place is amazing! The Oysters are SO good and the menu is very unique. You must try the BBQ shrimp. Yum!!! The atmosphere is so nice. Located ON the river with spectacular views! If you haven’t tried the Boathouse it is a MUST!!

Love this place, the atmosphere is great and the staff is always amazing. Shout out to our server Manny who really took good care of us. We highly recommend this restaurant: food is great and different, staff is great, very clean etc. Eat by the river and enjoy a great meal by your date/family/friends! The bar is very good too.

I had the pleasure of being served by Brandy,It was my first time at Boathouse that my husband surprised me for my birthday, and I was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism and attentiveness.From the moment we arrived,Brandy greeted us warmly and ensured we were comfortable. We enjoyed the well prepared Salmon, chicken quesadillas, woodfire okra and salad. Dozen oysters were delicious.
We were sat at the worse location in the restaurant were at the kindergarten families, of course the screaming and running around told us, time to leave!
Our server # 4 was not too happy, not personable, or friendly.
We asked questions about the oysters at she just pointed to the print out never made a suggestion or were interested. Mannerisms just what you want and get out attitude.
This was our first time at the restaurant and my last. The prices not merit the service. Maybe an off day lucky us. We were visiting outown definitely won't recommend the table, sit at the bar maybe a better choice.

The Chesapeake oysters stand out as an absolute favorite—they’re consistently fresh, flavorful, and a must-try for anyone visiting.

The drink selection is equally impressive, with a variety of well-crafted options that complement the overall dining experience. Most of the food items I tried were delicious, prepared with care, and presented beautifully. However, the “hot legs” were a bit of a letdown. While they looked appetizing, the flavor didn’t quite live up to expectations. I found them lacking the bold, savory notes I was hoping for, which left them feeling somewhat underwhelming compared to the other standout dishes. With a bit more seasoning or spice, they could easily become a highlight of the menu.

Overall, it’s a fantastic place with a lot to offer, and I look forward to returning for more oysters and drinks while enjoying the stunning views.
