On our road trip back home to Illinois from Florida my family and I wanted a real good tasting bbq joint. Charlie's came up from a Google search and we decided to give it a try. The food was so good! The sauce was very good too...our favorite was the hot bbq. My husband and I got brisket sandwiches and we got the kids the pulled pork sandwich meals. For sides we got mac&cheese, green beans and coleslaw. The staff was very friendly and kind. We ate up almost all of our food and went to purchase some toffee cookies but we're given them for free to try. This will definitely be a stop on our future trips down to Florida and we we'll definitely be recommending it to our friends and family!

Charlie's was so amazing and accommodating! They allowed us to host our rehearsal dinner there with nearly 40 people and even closed early so we had the restaurant to ourselves! The food was delicious and they even came up with an option for our vegetarian guests so they had plenty of food. It was very reasonably priced and we had a ton of leftovers to take home. Marcus was prompt in responding to our questions prior to the event and he and his staff were so great during the event. Thank you so much for the wonderful food and service that allowed us to focus on our time with our family and friends. Definitely recommend!

I came here about 3 years ago when it first opened, and it was good but I didn't go back because it was similar to the BBQ in my normal stomping grounds. On a whim, my husband and I found ourselves in the area and decided to go in. Well, there's a new pit master in charge and all I can say is WOW. Best BBQ and sides I've ever had. Best ribs, best pulled pork, amazing brisket! Sides are sooooo good! I hate when I go to a BBQ place and the meat is great but the sides suck. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. I'm definitely going to have my next company event catered by these guys!

Tried Charlie's BBQ for the first time today. Located in a funky little building that may have one been an old time garage. Staff was helpful. Decent menu offering Brisket, pork, beef ribs Or chicken. I tried the 2-meat plate w/ brisket and beef ribs. Sides I had were hot slaw and baked beans. The order came very fast. Portions were good, ribs were huge. The brisket has a good dry rub bark, it was a bit dry but good. Ribs were very good. I tried both there regular bbq sauce and hot. I liked the regular. Hot slaw was fresh cabbage with a spicy apple cider vinegar dressing. Good balance to have with the meat. Baked beans were very good.

Always yummy! Try it any time your hungry! I seem to always get the potato, meat is well seasoned, buttery tender potato with cheese and chives! Co worker loves the nachos! Nice place to sit on a patio when the weather is nice

Fantastic atmosphere and some of the best BBQ you'll find in Chattanooga. Both the pulled pork and the brisket are delicious, and I highly recommend the nachos. The sweet tea is perfect for the drink. Military friendly!

Friendly service and the food was delicious all the way around. Had the pulled pork sandwiches and the ribs. Great flavor, not overpowered with seasonings and all the sides were great. Get the Mac and cheese ?.
We went here because we were told it was the best bbq in Chattanooga. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Service was friendly and the atmosphere is great. However, the pork was dry and hardly seasoned. The ribs were so chewy we could barely bite into them. The brisket was dry and chewy as well. The mac and cheese was a $0.70 upgrade and was basically noodle soup. It was was literally dripping with each bite. We didn’t finish a single menu item. Maybe we just came on a bad day.

Found this place on Yelp and it didn't disappoint. We got the pork and ribs and tried the potato salad, baked beans, and Mac and cheese. The banana pudding was Stellar, and the chocolate chips are something to write home about! I'd go back! It's purser at the counter style and the folks working were sweet!

Been wanting to try a new bbq restaurant. Went to Charlie's and am very glad that I did. My wife and I got takeout, and it was fantastic she got the loaded baked potato with brisket and i got the pork meat platter with sides. She loved the brisket potato and couldn't finish it because the portions are very generous. My order was great. Very tender and moist definitely the best bbq that i've had. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are very friendly. Will definitely be back. This is a must try restaurant.
