During a recent walk in downtown Chattanooga, my husband and I stopped in this pub for lunch. We were just walking aimlessly and landed here.
We were politely greeted upon entrance and found a booth for us to sit in. Our waiter came in and checked our ID and once it was confirmed that we are over 21, we were good to go.
I ordered a chicken salad that I donât remember the name but now that I am back home, I wish I had it here. It was so good. My husband ordered fish and chips and really enjoyed it.
The restaurant is a tad smoky but itâs a pub so what would you expect. Overall, we had a great lunch and would definitely come back.

Didn't order anything here. Had no idea it was a smoking bar and left immediately. Needs to be openly advertised as such IMO.

My wife and I love a good pub. This place hits the nail on the head. Staff is super cool and on it. Fish and chips are good. The Ruben spring rolls are great. I am personally a Guinness fan and the pint was top notch. Wasnât very busy for a Sunday but when we come back to Chattanooga we will definitely stop back in.

9/11 1am the bartender of the bottom section is the worst bartender I ever had.... Everything is wrong about her , my can of carlsberg is literally smashed, of course she never offered a glass , she never offered a proper welcome to the place as a bartender or anyone in costumer service may do , she rushed me to order a drink from the hug menu , she never asked if I want to open an tab or anything Anyone could have a bad day and I understand that but I personally observed her being ok with the rest of the people in here tonight ..... By the way I don't have any recipe? Did she ever charge us ?

JUST RECEIVED THE WORST MEAL EVER FROM HAIR OF THE DOG! The meatloaf was disgusting! Harder than a rock! I couldnât break it on the table. Much less take a bite! I will never be back.

The only thing this bar has going for it is the security guard and even he looks too good to be stuck babysitting this disaster. The drinks are weak, the staff acts like you're bothering them by existing, and the vibe screams âfailed attempt at cool.â I come for five minutes, make awkward eye contact with Hot Bouncer, and leave before the smell of regret sets in.

Best prices on drinks or bar food downtown.. pretty good variety of food as well.
The only downside is they smoke cigarettes in there.
(Update: prices have increased. Still great vibes. Drinks aren't cheap anymore.)
